this February marks not only my return to blogging (hopefully).... but also the 1st birthday of http://amomentarylapsewithjoel.blogspot.com/ ....! i've been doing this for one full year now.... granted, it's been inconsistent.... however, it's done what i wanted it to do.... it's given me an outlet for my love of film.... and allows me to share my thoughts on them and to hopefully give you, the reader, some suggestions on things to see or not see.... i may not be the best review writer.... but i try.... and this blog has also proved that i can stick with it.... which is something that i've not done in the past.... and finally, it's given me back my confidence.... something i lost a while ago and had to fight to get back.... so, as you can see, this blog means a lot to me.... no matter how silly it is.... and how crappy my review writing skills are.... i'm just glad that some of you dig it, write to me about it and read it.... i couldn't ask for anything more....so to you the reader.... THANK YOU....! here's to another year ahead.... full of the good, the bad, and the outright ugly films that cinema has to offer....

ReplyDeleteI know it can be hard to write sometimes or keep readers interested, but in the end it's your blog and your thoughts. As long as you enjoy what you're doing then it's all worth it. :-)
